A 1080p HD camera and recorder concealed in a car phone holder, records both audio and video onto a micro-SD card in HD quality, for playback on a PC or via wifi on your smartphone from a short distance away (This device does not send information over the internet).
The law enforcement grade video and audio is also watermarked with the time and date and night vision.
All recordings are stored on a Micro SD card (16gb card provided) using standard H.264 encoding with a .MOV video file format. The built-in battery will provide up to 3 hours of continuous recordings with the IR night-vision turned off and up to 90 minutes with infra-red turned on.
Compatible with any mobile phone up to 8cm width, it is also supplied with a 360 degrees swivel/suction mount allowing you to adjust the angle of capture to your requirements.
There is also a switch hidden on the unit permitting you to change recording modes between continuous or motion detection capture.
The benefit of Wi-Fi:
With the ability of Wi-Fi connectivity, you can instantly review the footage you have captured on a smartphone or tablet, and you can live-stream the video content up to 3 metres. The Wi-Fi connectivity permits the user to download the captured content wirelessly. The Wi-Fi application also allows full control over the device, including resolution settings (1080p/720p/VGA), the ability to set and synchronise the time and date with your smart device, format the SD card and start/stop recording. Once the device is set-up, you can also ‘hide the SSID’ so no one else can find your device wirelessly.
